1. Why am I being warned about reaching my disk space limit if I have unlimited hosting? All disk space is allocated dynamically. That is, it is increased as needed. Please note that when you reach about 80% of your current limit you will receive a notice to contact me. Just E-mail me a note telling me you received that message and I will then give you more access. This is just a way for me to control the flow of sites and avoid a hacker from "stealing" the entire disk at once.
2. I can not get to my site or even baptistwebsite.com from my computer. But others can see it on their computer. A Fire Wall is set in place to stop attacks on the server. Sometimes if a lot of access is attempted to a site the Fire Wall may see it as an attack and lock out that IP address from accessing anything on the server. If this should happen to you then you should gain your IP address from: and Email me the returned IP number and asking me to check it. If blocked, I will unblock the address and white list it so it will not be blocked again.
3. Can I have more than one Domain Name go to the same web page? Yes you can have as many Domain Names as you wish point to one web site. Just let me know what you want pointed and I will park it on your site at no cost. Of course you will have to register the Domain Name you wish to park on the main site.
4. Front Page stopped working. If you find you can not publish using Front Page when you were able to before, it could be due to corrupt FP extensions. This can happen if there was an update on the server. You can correct this by going to your Cpanel and uninstall and reinstall the extensions. If you wish let us know and we will do it for you. |
